Quinte West council is being asked to up its game when it comes to implementing FARM 911, otherwise known as the Emily Project.
At its meeting Monday, council will be asked to create a FARM 911: The Emily Project Task Team.
FARM 911 is an effort to give large agricultural properties 911 addresses with signage so emergency responders can be quicker in getting to emergencies in the countryside.
So far, the City of Quinte West has received only three requests for 911 signage on farm property.
Last week, the first FARM 911 sign was put up in Northumberland County in Alnwick/Haldimand.
