A 33-year-old Belleville man was charged with break and enter after a theft at an east end apartment Friday morning.
City police say around 9:30 a man kicked in an apartment door, stole a Bluetooth speaker and ran away.
While police were on scene, a man walked by and was subsequently arrested.
Charged is 33-year-old Michael Spatola.
Meanwhile, an owner scared off a would be thief after a business was broken into in Belleville’s east end early Saturday morning.
And, there was an attempted break in at another business nearby, but the suspect did not get in.
