If you’re considering running for Belleville City Council, or for a trustee spot with the Hastings and Prince Edward School Board, you may also want to consider attending a city-hosted information session in a couple of weeks.
Speakers from the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and City Clerk’s Office will go over the basics of the election process, including rules and nomination dates, eligibility, fundraising, advertising and more.
It happens Thursday June 28 on the fourth floor of Belleville City Hall, between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m.
