The Belleville Police Service and the Ministry of Transportation joined forces for a safety blitz Thursday.
The Traffic Safety Unit of the city police, and the MTO were at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre, looking for unsafe commercial vehicles.
Staff Sergeant Rene Aubertin tells Quinte News the goal is road safety.
They will look for unsafe vehicles or trucks that are not road worthy.
