Prince Edward Memorial Hospital.
Prince Edward County council will debate a big contribution to a major project at a committee meeting Thursday.
Meeting as Committee of the Whole, council will vote on donating a total of 4.5 million dollars to the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation toward the building and furnishing of a new hospital in Picton.
Council had already committed 1.25 million dollars to the new hospital.
The Foundation’s fundraising goal is 16.5 million dollars.
