It was a busy early Sunday morning for the Tyendinaga Township and Mohawk Fire Departments.
They were called in to battle a fully involved fire at a steel Quonset hut-type garage at 394 York Road on the Mohawk Territory around 6 a.m.
Belleville Station 3 firefighters were also brought in for tanker support.
Mohawk Fire Chief Scott Maracle says the garage is a “total loss” and estimates the damages to be around $200,000.
