The case of a former Belleville tattoo artist is going to trial.
Kenneth Wayne Melvin was charged with more than 30 counts including child pornography, sexual assault, unlawful confinement and criminal harassment, but the Crown has withdrawn 11 of those.
He will go to trial on 25 others, with a pre-trial set for August 2 in Belleville and a trial start date yet to be set.
Melvin was charged after multiple complaints about being sexually assaulted during appointments at his now closed tattoo and piercing shop, on Dundas Street East.
