A Belleville man is facing charges after attempting to evade a RIDE program over the weekend.
Central Hastings OPP had a program set up at McGowan Street and Victoria Street in Tweed on Saturday night.
Police say a vehicle approached the RIDE Program and failed to stop when asked.
Officers pursued the driver before he abandoned the vehicle and fled into a field on River Street.
With the help of the Emergency Response Team and K-9 Unit the driver was found hiding in the field.
David Miller is facing flight while pursued by police charges.
The 27-year-old will appear in court in Belleville later this month.
