UPDATED: Hydro One is now on scene at a hydro pole fire at 421 Dundas Street West in Trenton.
According to Fire Chief John Whalen crews are cutting the tree which had uprooted and fallen on the wires, sparking the blaze around 2 p.m.
The road will be open soon and power will be restored shortly after that.
The road had been blocked off over concerns of the tree falling into the roadway, along with concerns of downing wires.
If you plan on travelling in the area of 421 Dundas Street West in Trenton, you may want to go a different route.
