One of two cyclists hit by a car west of Kingston Sunday, May 27, has died from his injuries.
According to Kingstonist, 42-year-old Jeff Vervaeke of Waterdown, Ontario, passed away in hospital Friday.
A handful of cyclists were taking part in a charity bike ride for Pancreatic Cancer Canada.
A female cyclist is recovering well in hospital.
The collision occurred on Bath Road, otherwise known as Loyalist Parkway.
Robert Saunders, a 51-year-old Kingston man, was charged with Dangerous Driving Causing Bodily Harm.
