The Lower Trent Valley Fish and Game Club held their annual Youth Day Saturday.
Between 400 and 500 youngsters got to learn about fishing, hunting, shooting, conservation, and of course safety.
Organizer Alson VanEykeren says the event is all about education.
VanEykeren adds it is a full day.
She says it is something for everything to learn.
The day also included face painting, a petting zoo, birds of prey, laser hunting, the fire department, archery, and a turkey hunt.
