Gleaners Foodbank is reaching out and asking the public for their help.
They say each year around this time, donations to the foodbank are low, while the need remains high.
In an effort to break the myths surrounding foodbanks, there is a national campaign underway until June 8th called Every Plate Full and it challenges people to feed themselves on just a dollar a day.
