According to various reports, Belleville Senators GM Randy Lee has been charged with harassment, in Buffalo.
The Ottawa Sun’s Bruce Garrioch says Lee, who is also Ottawa’s assistant GM, was involved in an incident with an employee at a Westin Hotel in Buffalo.
A report from the Associated Press says the incident happened during a shuttle bus ride, back to the hotel, from a downtown restaurant and bar.
Lee was in Buffalo for the NHL combine this week at KeyBank Centre.
According to the reports Lee had has passport seized and was told by a judge to stay away from the hotel.
Garrioch added that the charge against Lee is a violation, which in New York State carries a fine but no jail time, if found guilty.
Lee was released and will be back in court on Monday.
The Senators have yet to comment.
