Quinte Health Care has finished its latest fiscal year in a balanced financial position, without a surplus or a deficit.
While QHC as a whole served more patients than expected in 2017/18, the provincial government provided extra funding to help ease the financial pressures on the organization.
Meanwhile, at its meeting Tuesday in Bancroft, the Quinte Health Care Board of Directors officially donated a piece of land beside Trenton Memorial Hospital that will be the location of the new Community Health Hub.
