OPP have identified two people who were killed in a Highway 401 crash near Odessa last Friday, that closed the highway for nine hours.
Emergency crews responded to the crash between a car and a transport, in the eastbound lanes, just east of the Odessa OnRoute around 4:15 a.m.
The transport driver wasn’t hurt, but the man driving the car and the woman in the passenger seat were both killed.
Thirty-three-year-old Cheng Yuan of Waterloo and 37-year-old Meiyu Li of Burnaby BC were pronounced dead at the scene.
