The City of Belleville had less money invested at the end of March than it did at the end of 2017.
Today (Monday), Belleville council will see a report that at the end of March, the city had just over 78.3 million dollars in various investments.
At the end of 2017, it had almost $82.4 million invested.
The decrease came from money being transferred out of investment accounts.
Meanwhile, as of the end of March, the city earned close to $332,000 in interest.
That was down from the end of March last year when the city had earned almost $460,000 in interest.
