Two young females battled it out in physical fashion early Sunday morning.
Around 3:30 a.m., Belleville Police officers were called to the scene of a fight between the two women at a North Front Street establishment. Both females were under the age of 20.
One of the females involved in the scuffle pushed one of the officers.
As a result, both females were arrested and charged with public intoxication. They were later released from custody.
Meanwhile, Northumberland OPP and paramedics responded after a disturbance at a bar on King Street in downtown Colborne.
There were reports a man had suffered stab wounds to his hand and arm.
