It is a big weekend in Quinte West, as some of their roads will see a lot of two-wheeled vehicles.
The first ever Quinte Criterium cycling race is Sunday.
It is taking place at Centennial Park, and is a 1.7-K loop.
Distances range from 40 to 60 kilometres.
Municipal Special Events Coordinator Colleen Vickers says there are teams from as far away as Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom.
Everyone is welcome to come down and see it in person.
Bay Street will be closed between South and Tindall Streets from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., along with the splash pad and skate park.
