To say CFB Trenton is ingrained in the community is an understatement.
Base Commander Colonel Mark Goulden was the guest speaker at a luncheon hosted by the Quinte West Chamber of Commerce on Friday.
Colonel Goulden told those in attendance what the base is involved in, in all four corners of the world, while also touching on how involved they are locally.
Chamber General Manager Suzanne Andrews touches on one way the base contributes.
Goulden says he considers the community a part of the air force base’s family.
He also says they will continue to evolve and expand their capabilities.
He told those in attendance, the base has routine flights to the four corners of the world and is actively participating in humanitarian efforts, northern operations, expeditionary operations and many other operations.
