Prince Edward County Council stated at their budget discussions more housing and more affordable housing are something they need to start seriously looking at.
On Wednesday night, the Planning Committee approved a new build of a 24-unit apartment building on Spring Street in Picton.
Acting Mayor Dianne O’Brien says this is a good thing for residents.
The new building would also come with 30 parking spaces.
