There was a fight near the Quinte Consolidated Courthouse early Wednesday night.
Belleville police responded after getting reports of two men fighting on Mary Street at 8 o’clock.
Details are few but police say one man was armed with a rock and the other with a baseball bat.
Police report the fight ended as a draw and both combatants were taken to hospital for treatment of injuries.
The men refused to talk to police about their dispute.
