Belleville council will see a good news report about a crucial city service at its meeting this afternoon.
Senior staff will present a report on the operation of the city’s sewage treatment plant.
The report, written after an inspection by the Ontario Clean Water Agency, says the plant is meeting all regulatory requirements and that there were no “lost time” injuries.
The report also says the plant’s operation was more energy efficient than in the past.
