On May 12, 2018, at 6:18 p.m. police attended at 305 North Front Street for a parking lot hit and run accident. A couple had left their sedan parked in the parking lot. During this time a beige, newer model Chrysler van struck the sedan. The suspect vehicle stopped momentarily then sped away at a high rate of speed. The van will have damage (grey body paint, scratches and dents) along the mid- and rear-passenger side of the vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to call Sgt. On May 12, 2018, at 11:09 a.m. police attended at the intersection of Pinnacle Street and East Moira Street regarding a two-car collision. Both vehicles were towed from the scene and there were no reported injuries. The investigation is continuing. Any witnesses can contact Constable DeSousa at 613-966-0882 ext. 4184.
