Drivers should prepare for some overnight disruptions on the Norris Whitney Bridge, as crews begin rehabilitation work on the structure that connects Belleville and Prince Edward County.
Contractors will be on site as of May 15, which will lead to nightly single-lane closures and some 15-minute full closures, between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
A Ministry of Transportation spokesperson tells Quinte News those intermittent lane closures will happen through mid-November and portable message signs and signals will be installed at each end of the bridge to keep drivers informed on the work.
