There is a lot of horse power Friday morning in Tyendinaga Township.
There has been yet another report of horses running loose, just south of the village of Read.
Around 5:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of Blessington Road and Read Road, where close to 20 horses were spotted running loose.
Earlier this week, the OSPCA, Tyendinaga Township officials, and the OPP met to discuss the animals, who had broken loose from their owner’s property on Blessington Road, between Read Road and Weese Road.
CAO Steve Mercer says they have not had a lot of cooperation from the owner.
It is believed between 30 and 60 horses are loose in the municipality.
