A dump truck lost its load in Quinte West Tuesday afternoon.
Around 2:30 p.m., officers were called to Glen Ross Road, after the truck’s tailgate malfunctioned and opened, releasing the load onto the roadway.
Quinte West Public Works, and the company at fault cleared the roadway quickly.
Drivers could be fined for not having a secure load.
