Northumberland OPP are looking into a break and enter in Brighton late last month.
Suspects entered a home on Sandpiper Way, through an unlocked back door during the day on April 29 and stole jewellery from a bedroom, without taking anything else.
Police have also had reports of a man and woman in an older model, grey Buick sedan and say the pair seemed to be suspicious to residents.
The man left the vehicle at one point and urinated on a lawn in the neighbourhood and a woman with him was seen walking between houses.
Investigators say the man is described as olive-skinned, 50-60 years old, about 5’6” and 160 pounds.
He had dark hair and was wearing white cotton pants and a dark shirt.
There was no description of the woman.
Anyone who might have information on the theft can call OPP or Crimestoppers.
