Two men have been charged by Quinte West OPP after a dispute over a parking spot got violent early yesterday afternoon.
Police say the two men were fighting in the parking lot of the Motel 6 on Trenton Street, around 1:15 p.m. and weapons were involved.
Exact details of the scuffle weren’t released but investigators say there were no serious injuries.
Twenty-one-year-old Joshua Wilson of Quinte West is charged with weapons dangerous, assault with a weapon, uttering death threats, causing a disturbance by fighting and breaching probation.
Thirty-three-year-old David (CJ) Simpson of British Columbia is charged with assault, causing a disturbance by fighting and breaching probation as well.
