The bad news is that a truck ended up upside down in the Moira River during the wind storm early Friday night.
The good news is that there was no one inside the truck at the time.
Tyendinaga Township firefighters were called out shortly after 7 o’clock after reports of the truck being in the river on Shannonville Road, near Chisholm’s Mills.
It had been parked close to the river and due to soil erosion slid off into the river, flipping as it tumbled in.
No one was injured.
