Two separate collisions in Prince Edward County caused two roads to be closed.
Early this morning, members of the Prince Edward County OPP detachment responded to a collision on Church Street in Picton when a vehicle struck a hydro pole.
Nineteen-year-old Matthew Dobson from Picton has been charged with careless driving.
Church Street was closed while crews cleared the road.
The OPP also responded to a collision on County Road 8 around 8:20 a.m. Tuesday morning.
According to police, a loaded dump truck drifted too close to the shoulder of the road and subsequently hit a culvert before bouncing back onto the roadway. The truck then flipped spilling a load of gravel across the roadway.
The driver was taken to the hospital with minor non-life threatening injuries.
No charges were laid.
