For the third straight month, Belleville Transit has moved over 100,000 passengers.
Paul Buck, Manager of Transit Operations for the City of Belleville says there are a number of reasons why they are seeing this increase.
He says an increase in students at Loyalist has been a large contributor and he expects that to continue because of the May intake of students.
The late night route has also been quite successful.
This is all before the start of the casino route and new service improvements set to launch on Monday.
April’s ridership was 100,872.
