With the warmer weather, cyclists are starting to take advantage, but the OPP are asking you to be mindful.
On Friday afternoon in Prince Edward County, an 11 year old was hit on his bicycle.
Officers were called around 2:30 p.m. to King Street in Picton, where a vehicle struck the youngster while he was trying to cross the road.
He was taken to hospital for treatment.
Cyclists are reminded to pay attention while on local roadways.
