A number of area athletes are heading to OFSAA next week to compete in badminton.
Bayside Seconday School hosted COSSA on Tuesday April 24 for the top four competitors from the Kawartha and Bay of Quinte Region.
Advancing to OFSAA in Windsor from May 3 to 5 are: Samson Chan of Centennial Secondary, Silas Keating of North Hastings Secondary, Sam Phillips, Joshua Snider, Trina Griffiths, Kiera Taylor, Kayla Lee and Isaac Snider all of East Northumberland.
East Northumberland also won the team title.
