Local young documentary filmmakers were front and center at a meeting of Centre Hastings council Wednesday night.
Brock Kerby and Brian Long, who was not present, were recognized for their dedication and skill in producing the half-hour
Second World War documentary “In the Footsteps of a Hero”.
The film was featured at the Downtown Belleville DocFest and tells the story of Kerby’s Great Uncle Stewart who had been a
bomber pilot in the war.
