Plans are being made for improvements to the downtowns of Trenton and Frankford.
Quinte West’s Economic Development Committee is recommending council approve using provincial government grants for 5 projects.
They are street banners in both Trenton and Frankford, LED programmable lighting for the Veterans Skyway Bridge, Farmers Market sound equipment, WiFi connectivity in both downtowns, and mural repair.
Manager of Economic Development and Tourism Services, Linda Lisle says much of the upgrades cost will be paid for by a grant of $65,000 from the Main Street Revitalization program.
