A media report says a teacher at Napanee District Secondary is facing child porn charges.
According to The Kingston Whig Standard, Mitchell Skinner was arrested by police at his west-end Kingston home in early December.
Charges against Skinner included making child porn available, accessing child porn and possession of child porn.
The article says the RCMP National Child Co-ordination Centre and Kingston Police, discovered illicit images being shared through social media back in September.
The Whig adds that police raided Skinner’s home and seized computers, phones, and other digital devices.
He is said to have started working at NDSS in 2015, and was second Vice President of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation in the Limestone District School Board.
