The National Post filed a story which indicated that the future of the elite training force relocating to the base may be in question.
Jim Harrison says someone had their ducks in a row when they went ahead with the project.
Harrison says something needs to be decided.
He says, if they are waiting years to make a decision, lease the land back to farmers so it can be put to good use.
The cost of the project is estimated at well over $1 billion.
