Power is back after a fairly widespread outage in east end Belleville this morning.
Veridian Supervisor Joe Lonsberry estimates a few thousand people were affected when the lights went out just after 8 a.m.
He says the cause is suspected to be an issue with one customer’s transformer and they’re looking into that now.
The power was back before 10 a.m. for most customers.
