There is a happy ending to a missing child report in Belleville.
Around 8 p.m. Wednesday night, a frantic mother called police to report her three-year-old daughter missing.
A pair of officers searched the home while a grid search was being organized.
However, the grid search wasn’t needed as the officers located the little girl sleeping in the basement of the home underneath some blankets.
