2,101 years of service was honoured Wednesday, as the province handed out Volunteer Service Awards.
John Thompson was honoured for 50-plus years community service. He says he began his time with the Lions, but he was needed elsewhere.
Paul Deryaw was honoured for 40-plus years with The Scouts. He says he remembers exactly why he got into it.
The event took place at the Banquet Centre and included winners from numerous different fields.
