Everyone is invited to a big charity dinner, but don’t expect any food and don’t expect to have to dress up and go anywhere or do much of anything.
The Community Development Council of Quinte is inviting people to its first annual “Non-Dinner, Dinner!”, the complete opposite of the ubiquitous fundraising gala.
Executive Director of CDC Ruth Ingersoll says the agency, which provides programs and services to people and families in Hastings and Prince Edward County, sees its “non-event” as a way to spread the word about what the Community Development Council of Quinte does.
All people have to do is pick up a formal invitation to the Non-Dinner, Dinner! or have one mailed to them.
Invitations are available at the CDC office on Station Street in Belleville or you can call them to have an invitation mailed to you. The numbers
