Jeff Ogden has been named the Deputy Chief in the Municipality of Brighton.
Ogden has been a member of the Brighton Fire Department for over 20 years.
He was also appointed the Fire Prevention and Training Coordinator.
Fire Chief Rick Caddick says he’s extremely pleased with the appointment.
Ogden will be responsible for the managing and coordination the municipal fire prevention and training programs in order to maintain maximum service potential of all members of the department.
As Deputy Chief he will assume responsibility for the operation of the Fire Department in the absence of the Fire Chief.
Ogden will assume his responsibilities with the Municipality of Brighton effective April 30.
