A 39-year-old Quinte West man has been sentenced to a month in jail after pleading guilty to a theft charge and two charges of breach of probation.
Shawn Bowen was arrested April 7 after a shoplifting complaint from a Quinte West retailer.
Quinte West laid the charges after studying video surveillance.
He was already under court orders to not visit the store in question.
Bowen was sentenced to 30 days in jail, on top of six days pre-sentence custody.
Other charges were withdrawn.
