The Ministry of Labour is investigating Friday’s incident at Quinte Waste Solutions that sent one man to hospital.
According to the MOL, a worker was attempting to clear refuse from the feed end of a running conveyor when his arm got stuck in the machine.
Fire Chief John Whalen says the man was taken to hospital with a fractured arm.
An MOL inspector has been dispatched to attend the scene.
The MOL investigation is ongoing into the fatal accident at a subdivision in Quinte West on April 2.
There is no new information about that incident.
