It was another successful event for organizers of the Hospice Quinte Fundraising Gala.
The event on Saturday raised $130,000 for the Quinte region.
Executive Director Jennifer May-Anderson said, “We are so grateful for the continued support of our community. These funds will make a significant contribution in our communities in the coming year for our volunteer visiting hospice service and our bereavement support services.”
There were almost 400 people in attendance at the event.
Hospice Quinte assists terminally ill individuals and their caregivers by offering them support and companionship. Visiting hospice services are offered in the person’s own home, long-term care homes, retirement homes and both Belleville General and Trenton Memorial Hospitals.
