Vandals tried to deface a church property in Frankford early Sunday morning.
A caller to the Quinte West Fire Department said someone tried to set fire to a concrete cross outside
St. Francis of Assisis church on Riverside Parkway around 2:30 Sunday morning.
Frankford firefighters responded to find minimal damage but gas had been used in an attempt to set a fire.
OPP apprehended three males who were seen leaving the scene on Belleville Street and a 17 year old was charged with arson.
