Loyalist College and Queen’s University have joined forces.
On Friday, the post-secondary education institutions announced an agreement that allows graduates of the College’s Pre-Health Sciences certificate program the opportunity to pursue a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree at Queen’s through online learning.
“Building on our more than 70 university transfer agreements, we are particularly pleased to announce a pathway to Queen’s,” says Dr. Ann Marie Vaughan, Loyalist College President and CEO.
She says it allows students to start at Loyalist with a Pre-Health Sciences Certificate and finish with a degree from Queen’s through flexible online studies from home.
Loyalist offers two Pre-Health Sciences Pathway programs which prepare students for various academic transitions. The Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees program is designed for students planning to enter a three-year advanced diploma program or four-year degree program. The Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Certificates and Diplomas program is for students intending to enter a two-year diploma program, including Practical Nursing, Paramedic and other two-year health diploma programs.
