Emergency services were called to the Quinte Waste Solutions recycling plant this morning.
It was reported a man had his arm stuck in a conveyor belt.
The man was freed from the equipment and was placed in the care of paramedics.
He was taken to hospital with a possible fractured arm.
The Ministry of Labour has been contacted.
