Stirling-Rawdon council is close to passing its 2018 budget.
After two special meetings, council has trimmed the tax rate increase to around 1%.
Last year’s rate increase was 2.4%.
Stirling-Rawdon council will hold another budget discussion this month, with a final decision to be made in May.
