With heavy winds and rain in the forecast for the region, Lower Trent Conservation has issued a Flood Outlook Statement.
With the 20 millimetres of precipitation on Tuesday and more on Wednesday, and winds getting up to 100 km/h, staff says there is a chance of flooding.
The statement stretches from Quinte West to Grafton and includes Lake Ontario and the Bay of Quinte.
Waves could get between 1.5 – 2 metres on Lake Ontario.
